Max Cohen

Max is a senior partner practicing primarily real estate law with Cohen LLP. Max has two decades of experience negotiating private equity transactions and private company mergers and acquisitions. At Cohen LLP, he has led the real estate team to become one of Toronto’s leading residential and relocation real estate law firms. Max conducts a number of seminars on real estate law, dealing with a range of legal and regulatory matters.

Previously Max held positions as general counsel to Brascan Business Services. Associate General Counsel of U.S. Loyalty Inc. and its sister company, Loyalty Management Group Canada Inc. (AIR MILES® Program) and Chapters Inc., Canada’s largest book retailer (1997-2001). Max graduated from the Joint M.B.A./LL.B. Program from the Schulich School of Business at York University and from Osgoode Hall Law School. Max was called to the bar in 1994 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
